WOLFE 2026

The WOLFE workshop. The 11th Workshop on Labour and Family Economics (WOLFE) will be held on June 30th, 2026. It is organised by the Department of Economics at the University of York and will take place at the Guildhall in York (United Kingdom).

We invite paper submissions in any area of Labour and Family Economics including Human Capital Formation, Child Development, Health Economics, Applied Microeconometrics, Household Economics, Gender Identity and Norms, Labour Market Outcomes, Policy Evaluation and Education.

Paper submission procedure. Please submit an electronic version of the paper or extended abstract (in PDF format) no later than March 31, 2026. Authors will be notified by early May 2026.

Keynote speaker: The keynote speaker for the 11th edition of the WOLFE will be Yann Bramoullé, Professor of Economics at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics.

Practical Information: The WOLFE is a small, focused, one-day workshop and we ask that participants attend all sessions. There are no registration fees. Accommodation will be covered (up to two nights).
